Acta Geophysica

Dear Colleagues,

From 1st January 2017 the formula of Acta Geophysica will be changed. It will be published in cooperation with Springer Company. As a consequence, Acta Geophysica will no longer be an open access journal but it will be one of the Springer Platform journals. Although the publication of articles in Acta Geophysica will still be free of charge, the access to them will be limited to Springer Platform subscribers. As an option Springer enables all authors so called Open Choice program that allows an open access publication of articles. This option is free of charge for researchers in many European countries.

With best regards,

Editorial Board of Acta Geophysica

Acta Geophysica, formerly Acta Geophysica Polonica, is an international journal dealing with all fields of general and applied geophysics. This broad scope is divided into the following five groups: solid Earth sciences, hydrology, atmospheric sciences, space sciences and applied geophysics.

Full texts are available at Springer:

Volumes 54-64 are also available at De Gruyter Open:

Acta Geophysica has been covered by the Science Citation Index-Expanded since 2007.

Acta Geophysica is open to all kinds of manuscripts including research and review articles, short communications, comments to published papers, letters to the Editor as well as book reviews. Some of the issues are fully devoted to particular topics; we do encourage proposals for such topical issues.

We accept submissions from scientists world-wide, offering high scientific and editorial standard and comprehensive treatment of the discussed topics.
